How do I remove an amount from my 1040 form before I file my taxes? I got an extension and I'm ready to file, but I noticed an error on my 1040 form.

How do I remove an amount from my 1040 form before I file my taxes? I got an extension and I'm ready to file, but I noticed an error on my 1040 form.
