How do I print the correct state return if I had to amend the federal return before I filed the state return?

I received a 1099 after I filed my federal but before I filed my state tax returns. TurboTax had me create an amended return, but it seems to have generated an amended return for the state. I simply want to file my state return based on the amended federal return. As is, I have the original state return (based on the wrong income that I had to amend) and an amended state return. How do I get TurboTax to "join" them?

Yes, you can delete the state amended return. You don't mention which state you are filing, but it generally works like this:

1. Sign in to you TurboTax account. 
2. Select State Taxes, then Your State Returns.
3. Select Edit to the right of  your state.
4. On the screen, Your 2023 (Name) taxes are ready for us to check, select Edit to the right of Other situations.
5. Select Start to the right of Amend a Tax Return.
6. Select I don't need to amend after all.
