How do I PRINT a 1040-es that I completed AFTER I submitted my return?

I have already filed my taxes and then went back in to calculate estimated payments for next year (I'd originally chosen No).  I was able to calculate the payments but see no way to print the forms.  My Docs displays the federal return I submitted, not the updated one with the 1040es

I have given the full set of instructions for making changes to your Estimated Taxes and then printing them.  You can skip the first few steps and go right to printing if these steps to not apply.

If you want to get back into your return because you would like to make changes to the Estimated Tax section, follow these steps:

NOTE:  Be careful not to change anything besides the estimated tax section.  Here is how -

  • Sign into your TurboTax account
  • On the homepage, click the My TurboTax tab and then My Tax Timeline in the dropdown menu
  • Scroll down to the section  "Some Other Things you Can Do"
  • Click "Add a State" (you will not actually add a state, it's just a way to get you back into your return)
  • Click Federal taxes > Other Tax Situations > Other Tax Forms > Form W4 and Estimated Taxes
  • Follow the prompts and you will be asked a series of questions.  The program will base the estimated payments off this years return, but if you anticipate having more income next year or if there will be other life changes (i.e you won't be able to claim a dependent anymore), then you can make those adjustments.
  • After you have made the adjustments, if you are not prompted to print out fresh ES forms, then go to My Account > Print Center.  Follow the prompts to download a new pdf and you can select the 1040 ES forms for printing.

You will have four quarterly vouchers that you can use to submit estimated tax payments. These vouchers are for your convenience, you can also make the payments directly online (make sure you indicate they are for 2017 ES payments) and you can adjust the amount of the payment (higher or lower) during the year depending on anticipated income.

You can also get these vouchers directly from the IRS and make the payments if you ever lose the vouchers TurboTax prints up or you decide to change the amount.

There is no Print Center under My Account, nor under My TurboTax or Documents

And you have followed the steps to get back into your tax return?  What do you see under My Account?

Sorry -- I didn't realize I had to navigate all the way back into the Add A State thing for it to show up but, yes, it's there once I'm fully inside it.  Thanks.
