How do I look at my state return only

For what year?  For 2022 you need to download the pdf file to see the whole return.   To see all the forms you need to pay any fees first with a credit card.

I assume you are using TurboTax Online, because that's what the tag below your question says. If you are using the CD/Download TurboTax software you have more flexibility, and the answer will be different.

Are you asking about your 2022 return, that you are working on now, or about an earlier year that you already filed?

What exactly are you trying to do? The state and federal tax returns are in the same PDF. If all you want to do is "look at" it, which is what you asked, download the PDF and look at whatever parts you want to look at. If you want to print a copy of the state return, the print function in Acrobat Reader lets you select which pages you want to print from the PDF.

For any prior year the PDF has all the forms in it ... the state is after all the federal forms.   Use your PDF reader to view/print any forms desired.
