How do I know if the stimulus portal received my direct deposit info if I am a 2019 non-filer? It now says at the bottom do not continue if you are a nonfiler.

After entering my direct deposit info it told me that it was received.. But then the next part is about getting info from your 2018 tax return. I tried to access that with the IRS website, but it didn’t help as it told me all the credit card numbers I have tried are invalid. After that, the only way to get it is via phone or mail which they shut down temporarily. The stimulus portal says do not continue if you are a 2019 nonfiler, and I am, but it just does not seem complete. Every time and I open the portal it is still on the page where I can do a mini file for 2019. I did file in 2018 but the direct deposit info is not valid now. I just want to be sure that the direct deposit info entered in the stimulus portal is received.

If you got a notice that your stimulus registration was received, then you would be waiting for a notice to say that  it has been accepted or rejected.  We do not have access to your TurboTax account here on the Community Board.

The bank account information for TurboTax filers is transmitted to the IRS as a part of the tax return. The IRS has the appropriate banking information for all TurboTax filers, which can be used by them to distribute stimulus payments. This is true regardless of whether a customer chose to receive their refund on a debit card, selected refund transfer (refund processing service/SBTPG) or other services.

Any TurboTax customer who selected a refund transfer or a debit card that gets a stimulus payment sent from the IRS to those accounts will receive those stimulus payments without delay or fees.

We know everyone is anxious to get their money. If you are eligible, you can find out when and how the IRS will be sending your stimulus payment to you by visiting the IRS Get My Payment tool.

The IRS Get My Payment is the ONLY way to get:

  • Your payment status
  • Your payment type
  • Additional information, like if IRS needs updated bank account information

Stimulus Payments for Refund Transfer and Turbo Visa Debit Cards Customer.
