TurboTax and the IRS save tax returns for seven years. Returns older than that are gone. The IRS might have a transcript of your 2013 return---they keep transcripts a few years longer than they save copies of the actual returns.

They don't go back prior to 2013 either. Thanks for the idea though. It was worth a check. I am getting audited on a carryover from my 2011 return. But I not longer have it in my files and it's not possible to get from the IRS. Statute of limitations doesn't seem to apply though as it showed up as a carryover on my 2019 return. I'm trying to figure out the source of it. Anyway looks like i owe money as i can't find the return. Sigh 🙂
