How do I download my 2019 .tax file if I used a different service to file in 2020? In the chat, I'm asked to purchase support, but the link just takes me to a blank page.

I need to amend my taxes from 2019, so I want to download my 2019 .tax file. I am told to start my 2020 return on TurboTax in order to access my 2019 .tax file, but I have already submitted my 2020 return using a different service (not TurboTax) and I simply want to download that 2019 .tax file!

No you do not have to start a 2020 return.  But to get the side menu to open up and give you access to your 2019 return, you will need to enter enough personal information into a 2022 return.    You do not have to finish preparing 2022 if you do not want to.  And....if you are hoping to amend 2019 to get an additional refund, accomplish that by the April 18 deadline or it will be too late.
