how do i convert a 2019 return done on a Mac to a PC

What do you mean by "convert" the 2019 return?  What are you really trying to do?   If you saved the return as a tax file, then you can move the file to your PC by using a flash drive.   Are you trying to transfer the 2019 tax file so that you can prepare a 2020 return on a PC?   Please explain.

Both Mac and Windows use the same file.  The data file ends in .tax2019.   No converting necessary.   I don't think Mac shows the file extension but it's there.  Just copy the .tax2019 file to Windows.  

You can use it to Transfer into the 2020 program.  

Do you want to open it in the Windows 2019 program?  Do you have the 2019 program installed and Activated with the License Code?  If not,  Sorry you will never be able to activate the 2019 program with the License Code.   The License Code started in 2019.  So 2019 needs to connect to Turbo Tax to verify the License Code.  But they have stopped supporting 2019.  They only support and update the last 3 years and put 2022 in the last years product pages and took off 2019. 

Even if you install 2019 or prior you won't be able to update or download any state program you will need.

Thank you, I have solved it with moving it with a drive to another computer.  But that was the issue, moving it.
