How do I cancel my direct deposit?

It is unfortunate if you closed out your bank account before your refund was deposited. When it is returned by your bank the IRS will issue a paper check and mail it to the address and name of person/persons on the original return. Once a return is mailed or electronically submitted it CANNOT be cancelled.
