How do I amend a already filled tax return

My bank account closed, so I needed to change my account number to another account

If you have already filed your return, there is no way to edit the information entered or to change the Refund Method.
If you chose direct deposit and the account information entered is incorrect the bank will reject your refund and the IRS will mail a paper check to the address listed on your return.

Please allow 3-5 weeks for the check to arrive.
