How do I amend 2018 state taxes? IRS sent incorrect information to state and now I need to fix it

IRS sent information to state and they did not apply it correctly.  however when I go to 1040 its still the same infor as I subitted to begin with.  Does not have the additional amount I forgot  to add to original.  All taxes are paid to IRS and even received refund.  But State says I now owe 5000 more as they took the information as total income and not additional income.  They are saying there is 55,000 more income for my husband and there is not. only 12000.
