Line 18 on the Form 5695 is a calculated amount for your Lifetime limitation and cannot be directly entered on the form.
Using the TurboTax online editions you do not have direct access to any forms, schedules or worksheets.
Go back through the Home Energy Credit section of the program and check your answers.
To enter Home Energy Credits -
- Click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home and Business)
- Click on Deductions and Credit
- Click on I'll choose what I work on (if shown)
- Under Your Home
- On Home Energy Credits, click the start or update button
Or enter home energy improvement in the Search box located in the upper right of the program screen. Click on Jump to home energy improvement
However, you can view your Form 1040 at any time using the online editions. Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen. Click on Tools. Click on View Tax Summary. Click on Preview my 1040 on the left side of the screen.
To view or print your complete tax return you will have to pay the TurboTax account fees.
To pay the TurboTax online account fees by credit card, without completing the 2021 return at this time, click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen. Then click on Print Center. Then click on Print, save or preview this year's return. On the next page, to pay by credit card, click Pay Now. The next screen will show a review of your Fees, click on Continue. Complete the next screen to pay by credit card and click Continue.
