How can I update an ITIN to a SSN on a previously sent and accepted federal tax return? Status changed after tax returns were filed. SSA not taking calls due to pandemia.

You can file an amended return, where you will be given an opportunity to explain what you are changing on your tax return. You will see an option for that when you log into your TurboTax program.
