How can I amend my accepted 2023 taxes to indicate that someone else can claim me?

I accidently selected that no one can claim me, however as a full time high school student, my parent can claim me and now I need to amend my accepted taxes so they can correct their taxes. How can I do that?

Yes, you have to amend your tax return so that your parents can claim you.

When amending, go to the My Info section, follow the interview and change your answer to the question asking if you can be claimed as a dependent by another taxpayer.
