How can I add a document to send with my amended return?

You would have to print and mail the amended return to attach something. But they probably won't read it. You should probably wait for the IRS to ask you about whatever.

For some reason, TurboTax did not download all of the information from my Merrill Lynch account. Now I need to file an amended return. How do I go about doing that?
