How did you direct the IRS to send it to you? Did you enter a bank account number and routing number on your tax return for direct deposit? It would be shown at the top of your electronic filing instructions or at the bottom of your form 1040 p. 2. If you did not enter direct deposit information, then the IRS will issue a paper check and mail it to you at the address shown on your tax return.
