Hi, I submitted an application to defer my payment and pay in installments. How do I know if the IRS accepted this application? And, if so, what do I do now?

The IRS will send you a letter in the mail that will either approve or reject the application.  This normally takes about 30 days after the application was submitted and received by the IRS, sometimes a bit longer if submitted around the due date of the tax return.
