Help!

I received a letter from the IRS saying I need to verify that it was me that filed but am unable to successfully complete this via the web and can not get a person via telephone because no one is manning the phones!!! I have tried several times and am very frustrated & hopeless.

So now you WAIT until such a time as you can verify your Identity either on the phone or in an office ... the IRS is putting staff back to work in steps starting Monday.
