On my original return I filed it not realizing I entered a wrong number in my social. It then was rejected and then when I clicked on the link “fix my return”. I corrected my error and re filed as it said. Then I got another email saying It was rejected once again. It says R0000-932-02 - If "Amended Return" checkbox is not checked, then taxpayer TIN in the Return Header must not be the same as a TIN of a previously accepted electronic return for the return type and tax period indicated in the tax return.

I do not see anywhere amend return or anything.

The key word is IF...... If "Amended Return" checkbox is not checked, then taxpayer TIN in the Return Header must not be the same as a TIN of a previously accepted electronic return for the return type and tax period indicated in the tax return.

Is it possible that someone else filed a return with your SSN?  It could have been a typo, or something worse.  I suggest you print, sign and file by mail.  Get a USPS Tracking Number,  And watch your credit reports.

Hello. At first it told me I entered my social wrong because the name didn’t match the social. Which I realized I made a typo. So it’s saying if amended box is not checked. My tins numbers shouldn’t match right. But if I find the amend box then that would fix the issue. I cannot find that check box
