Every year you file your tax return, you must enter your direct deposit information to get your refund electronically. This information includes your bank information. If you enter your information incorrectly, you can call the IRS at 1-800-829-1040 to have it changed

If the bank rejected the deposit and sent it back to the IRS. Then the IRS will mail a check to the address on your return. It may take a couple weeks.
