The IRS issues most refunds from e-filed returns in about 21 days, although some returns take more time to review. To find out where your refund is, first check your e-file status. If it's been accepted, you can begin to track your refund at the IRS Where's My Refund? site. You'll need your Social Security number or ITIN, filing status, and the exact amount of your refund to check your status. If it's been more than 21 days since your e-filed 2021 or 2020 return was accepted, you can call the IRS directly to check on your refund status.
IRS usually issues a Notice of Explanation when they make adjustments or are reviewing your return. If you have received any written notices for 2020 or 2021, us the contact information on that notice to contact someone that may be involved with your returns. If you have moved and have not updated you information, you may have missed communication from the IRS.
TurboTax does not receive any updates on returns that have been filed and accepted by the IRS. It is a Privacy Law concern and they will only contact you the taxpayer. All inquiries will have to be made to the IRS as TurboTax does not have any information on your refund. @ stevena66
