TurboTax does not get your return. it only transmits it (e-files) once you click on that orange transmit icon.  then you should receive 2 e-mails one saying submitted and then one saying rejected  (you need to fix it because it has not been filed) or accepted -the IRS has it.

Last night a representative told me that they actually sold our information to the IRS so we could be come test dummies since we had filed our returns early.
