I had to mail my return in this year, it's been 2 weeks and yesterday it showed received on wmr. How long does it take to be approved?

I called today because mine is still not showing the bars or anything and they pulled up the information and told me it's because they received two duplicate returns because the first one I sent they said was never received so they told me to mail it again I did and then she said like 4 days after they got the second  they received the first one and she sayed that now it can take up to 16 weeks to process it because of the other return

Ok @michaelnurse2010 jus talked to irs.... unfortunately it starts when THEY receive it..... and it goes to different "stations" weekly so 1st station would b verifying ssn etc nxt station wld b verifying ncome with employers ncome w2 matches etc next station would be credits etc then refund process so she said sit tight keep checking wmr should be soon..... I mailed mine 2/9 showed received 3/6 but bar disappeared 3/10 for me

Tomm is 6 wks since mailed..... I went on n called today n 2 told me call back tomm lol n another told me call back NEXT wk n this last 1 told me call back mid April smh I dnt ev en think they know what's going on!! I played dumb n asked if they could tell me when it was received n th ey told me no smh then how am I suppose to count 6-8 wks fr receive date?!?! Just classic smh

Okay so i spoke with a ta today about my return which they said it not showing as of yet mind you i had to mail it due to my agi so she suggested that i try and efile again since its not showing up and by the grace of God it got accepted im too happy...

I wish my prayers will be answered because god knows i dont want them to send mines back , the first time they didnt get it , and i just sent it again they recieved it today.. I pray they dont send it back because i forgot my dang w-2s

I am so ****** OVER this **** FOR REAL bn 6 weeks since I mailed my return I called this morning n this rude ***** tells me to count 6-8 weeks fr March 12th um NO MAAM  that's NOT what were doing!!!! I MAILED IT FEB 9TH!!!! I KNOW DAMN WELL THEY GOT IT BEFORE THE 12TH OF MARCH!!!!!! N SHE said something was going on with my holdings?! What's the number for a tax advocate ANYONE know? GAME OVER

mailed mines in 2/8. Had to mail in for no ip pin. sent back for not signing 2/23. I didn't receive it till 3/5 signed sent it back that same day. called several times to confirm it had been received.  kept being told no history of a return on file not even the return they sent back to me. Than I decided called yesterday 3/22 spoke with a nice gentalmen who had said he seen I had been calling since January with ip pin issue as well as trying to track me refund.  he stated my return had not been received or even in the system. he said he felt really bad because of all the issues of been having. I checked today 3/23 I now have 1 bar saying it has been received and being processed finally. Hopefully it it won't be too much longer. I will probably have to call in to verify my identity because I didn't have my ip pin. fingers crossed it will soon be over.

I got my paper in the mail today I Verified today she said it may take up to 9 weeks I pray it don’t but all I can do is wait
