Green Dot Bank is crooked.

Today we received a "refund" check from Green Dot Bank with $70 worth of deductions: 1. Amount paid for tax preparations services: $24.99 4. Refund transfer processing fee: $34.99 6. Reprocessing fee: $20. None of this should have been involved in processing our federal return -- which should have been direct deposited, not appeared in our mailbox in the form of this check.

Our bank account # and transfer # haven't changed in years, and so it's bogus to claim that it couldn't be processed.

Green Dot Bank strikes me as a crooked outfit from which TurboTax should disassociate itself. I am pissed, and I will not be using TurboTax in the future if this is not satisfactorily resolved. Thanks.

Green Dot Bank is crooked.

Ask your bank why they refused the deposit ... it must be on their end if the deposit was changed to a mailed check.

Also ask the processing bank why it was changed ... and the fees for this switch  are in the fine print of the contract you agreed to ... sorry.
