Got a code 1541 from irs what does it mean?

The code 1541 is an internal code used by the IRS to identify returns that have been "Delayed". The doesn't mean there is something wrong with your return, it could simply be that the IRS has an overflow of returns at this time and is behind schedule. 

Since there are different reasons accounting for the 1541 reference number, you can contact the IRS directly and mention the reference the code 1541 to them and they can provide you with further details.

Got a code 1541 from irs what does it mean?

on Last year's tax return, in the place where it says "your refund" the number 1541 was given. We thought it was our refund. Someone told  us its an IRS code. Need to know whst it means.
