Sadly if you did not save a PDF of the original return before you started to amend all you can do right now is undo all the changes you made to put the return back to the as filed state.
Before you can file an amended return, the original return will need to have been processed by the IRS (refund issued / payment processed).
If you used TurboTax Online, simply log in to your account and select “Amend a return that was filed and accepted.” If you used our CD/download product, sign back into your return and select “Amend a filed return.”
See here for more information on preparing an amended return with TurboTax. When you make changes to the amounts originally reported, Form 1040-X will display the amounts originally entered, the changes made, and the total corrected amounts.
As Critter-3 stated above, once you have started to amend the return, you will have changed the amounts on the original return.
