@repaskyt  You can the instructions I posted below to do an amended return.  If you want to manually amend a return, the following is the Federal Amended return.

If you need to amend a state return, you can go to your states website for their amended forms.

Amended returns must be mailed.  Any refund due with an amended return is sent by check.  Once the amendment form is available you can amend your return.

You will need to amend your tax return.  This will be available in TurboTax towards the end of February.  Amending is a simple process in TurboTax.  I will provide instructions below.

You will need to wait until the IRS receives and processes your original return.  Wait until you receive the refund on your original tax return (or your check clears if you had to send a payment).

Currently, TurboTax shows the amended return available on 2/28/19 but you can check the dates at the link below to see if it changes.  You amend on 1040-X.

Can I amend my 2018 return with turbotax even if i didnt use turbo tax? or that wouldn't be an option? Thanks
