Form to mail to IRS didn't print

As I was finishing e-filing, I got a message that IRS required I print and mail in some form. I clicked on Print Form but it didn't print, and the screen moved on. How do I print the forms (not my returns) that are required even though I have e-filed?

Form to mail to IRS didn't print

If you e-filed your return, there should not be any forms to print and mail in. If there were, instructions would print on the cover sheet.

If you have already filed your return, you may need to reopen your return first to review the cover sheet.

  • Sign in to your TurboTax Online account
  • Select My TurboTax, View My Tax Timeline
  • In the Some things you can do section, click 'Add a State' (you aren't really adding a state this is just a way to reopen your return)

After you reopen your return, you should see print/save my documents icon. Select the icon, and then select 'Print/save/preview this year's return. If you don't see the icon, select My Account, then Print Center.

From your printing options drop down box, select All Forms. When the forms populate, scroll down to locate the state tax return cover sheet. The cover sheet has the mailing instructions.
