Forgot a W-2

I e-filed my return and it was approved, however, I received an additional W-2 in the mail. I know I must file an amendment but I wanted to know whether or not it was ok to use the refund that is on its way to me or to wait until the amendment is filed.

Yes you have to amend, but you have 3 years from when you filled to amend a tax return.  So don’t rush, but also don’t forget.
