Forgot a small W-2

I forgot I had income from tutoring in 2021, but the tax amount was under $3 - do I need to amend my taxes for this or is it so small that it doesn't matter?

All tax forms are sent to both you and the IRS. If you don't report all you W-2s you might receive a letter from the IRS and a bill for anything you owe.

I wouldn't if you're on;y going to owe $3. see if the iRS catches it. while the IRS will probably never admit this they may allow small errors to slip by. it cost them more to send out a bill and notice and then process the response than the extra $3 it receives
