It’s my first time amending taxes and I’m confused on the process. I e-filed but i got denied, so do i send them through the mail since they were amended?

If you are referring to the 2020 tax return - If the e-filed tax return was rejected by the IRS you do not amend the tax return, you correct the error and e-file the tax return again.
A tax return is Only amended if it was originally filed and accepted by the IRS and you need to make corrections to the accepted tax return.
Yes, I tried to correct the mistake multiple times and it was still rejected so I selected return by mail. And yes I’m referring to the 2020 return

Since you are going to print, sign, date and mail the federal tax return it is the original tax return. You did not amend the return.
So i do have to send it by mail correct?
