What does the IRS say?  Are you waiting for a refund?

The IRS is behind on updating their website. The IRS is taking a long time this year.  Plan on 6 months or more.  All you can do is be patient and keep waiting.

The IRS is still processing 2020 returns.  As of June 21, 2022 the IRS is almost done processing 2020 returns, filed in 2021.  See,

TT does not know if your filing has been Approved, only if it was Accepted (for processing). Approved is a later step, and the IRS does not notify TT of this.

@Steveen - 'accept' simply means the IRS acknowledges receipt of the return.  it does NOT mean they have reviewed it or approved it.

The status of your return is confidential information and not shared with anyone, even Turbo Tax.  The IRS only shares that with you
