Yes. If you have not e-filed the tax return, then you have to print, sign, date and mail the federal tax return to the IRS. Include with the mailed tax return all forms W-2 and 1099 which have federal taxes withheld.
Hi
My tax has been rejected after filing. I am getting the message as there was no AGI attached while filing the tax. This was because I was a J1 visa student and I am not applicable to have AGI, hence give me a solution to the aforementioned problem in terms of how should I claim the tax. Also I am finding difficulty in contacting, thus requesting you to help me with an email ID so we can have it discussed over the email as well.
looking forward to a solution for reclaiming my tax.
Thank you,
Shivani

If you do not have a 2018 AGI then enter a 0 (zero) for the 2018 AGI and e-file the tax return.
If this is rejected then you will have to print and mail the tax return.
See this TurboTax support FAQ for printing a tax return for mailing - https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/printing/help/how-do-i-print-and-mail-my-return-in-turbotax-online...
If you didn't file a 2018 tax return with the IRS, just tell us you didn’t file last year when we ask you. But if you’ve already entered a number for your AGI, manually enter 0 instead.
If you do have to mail the return, TurboTax will print mailing instructions. Be sure to sign your return.
