Federal return and stimulus payment

I filed my taxes and it said about 3 weeks before my deposit hit my direct deposit. I recently received a stimulus payment because I had not gotten my stimulus and added it when I did my taxes. The stimulus payment of 1400 came but not my original payment for my federal return. I checked the app and it still shows that my return is headed my way. I’m trying to make sure that is correct and turbo tax or the irs hasn’t messed up the actual return

Federal return and stimulus payment

This year is taking the IRS longer to send the refunds.  There are millions more people filing returns to get the Stimulus payment.  The 3rd new 1400 might have used your 2019 return.  The 3rd one did not go on your 2020 return.  You only reported the first 2....1200+600 if you got them or not.

Yes I understand but will I still get my return next week because that will be 21 days for my return to be directed to my account

Turbo Tax only gives you an estimated date.  The IRS usually pays most refunds within 21 days.  But these are not normal times.

Only the IRS can tell you. If your return was Accepted then check IRS Where's my refund
