I feel the same i have never had this problem. I received an email saying that my refund will be received on the actual day which for me is 2/26 turbo tax has to get it together the SBTP APP is saying no account found so I can't even see if my the money was sent.
If you opted for the 5 day early refund then your refund will not process through SBTP. It will go through Cross River Bank, this is the bank that TT used for these transactions. Unfortunately they do not have a tracker like SBTP and they are very tight lipped when you call them about the status of your refund.
my issue the same. got a follow up email saying not sent early dnt worry etc. i had 2/24 date and nothing. checked back and went from sent to pending.. i filed 1/15. currently irs refund tracker is unavailable. it showed sent now im lost.. no incoming deposit on chime either
Can you keep us updated on if it comes today just want to know what to expect even though I know everybody situation is different.
Okay so let me get this correct I opted for the five days earlier but it says unfortunately couldn't do it got refunded my money when I spoke with TT they said fees were paid already so where and who do I need to contact thank you so much TT and chime are just saying wait I have been since it was approved 2/16 and 846 code 2/15 so I'm just trying to get to where at least my refund is at thanks again for your help
You can contact turbo tax or chime its either in one of those places if the wmr app says sent.
So you need to contact Cross River Bank out of NJ. I will warn you now they have been incredibly unhelpful and difficult for many people. This whole thing has been a cluster for many people as Turbo Tax is now telling some individuals that fi they did not receive their 5 day early refund they are going to have to wait on a paper check. Again I don't know how accurate that is but numerous people in numerous forums have been told this now.

Hello, I had an early deposit date of the 19th. Ty said it failed to deposit money into account which I’ve used 2 years now and state worked fine. They say in Tt that it was mailed the 19th and I should get it by 24th and nothing yet. Don’t know what’s going on? Will I get a check or still did in my cash app acct. my info for account is correct & state came in just fine no issues. Did you ever figure anything out ??
To be honest I am not sure at this point. I have heard a few people say they were being mailed checks, but several TT employees I have spoken with said that deposits will be deposited electronically as normal and they are not issuing checks. The messaging is all over the place and no rep seems to have the same story. Sorry I could not be more help.
Did anyone else have an early deposit date of the 19th/ then said it was unsuccessful and was mailed the 19th and still got a direct deposit today? I thought it they mailed it they would send a tracking number given the amount of the “check” I still only see “mailed 02/19” and the irs website says should be deposited 02/24. I’m just so nervous and confused and don’t know where to turn for answers.
The best place to contact would probably be Cross River Bank, this is the bank TT used this year for the 5 day early deposits. They will be the ones who have your money if it is there. A few disclaimers
1 They are incredibly difficult to work with. They do not want to tell you anything and you have to be very assertive to get information.
2 They have numerous complaints over numerous platforms of not sending money they claimed they sent so I would not be surprised if they actually are mailing you a check.
3 You will have to see if you can Google their number because it is hard to find and even if you find one it seems to be a never ending automated phone tree.

I got a email from TurboTax on yesterday and the posts are scaring me because I need my refund. It says my regular refund will arrive by its original expected date of 2/26. They couldn't expedite it by 5 days as planned. I won't be charged for the 5 days and they'll send me an email when it's on its way. I'm use to using Santa Barbara and on that day you will get it but now I'm waiting on an email and the other posts are scaring me and even mentioned about sending checks. This is the first time I saw where this was offered by TurboTax and some are being disappointed and I pray this doesn't happen to me and the others receive theirs. I will update if my funds are posted to my account on the 6th. TurboTax please take care of your customers.
I got that email as well and thank God got my refund 2 hours later! So keep the hope alive!
