Federal e-filed and mailing an amendment but have not filed state taxes yet

I e-filed my 2019 federal taxes using TT software.

I am mailing a federal amendment.

I have not mailed my state taxes and payment yet.

Should I print out my state taxes including the amendment and mail a check with the amount I owe...or what should I do? Thanks

An amended return shows the difference between the original return and the new return after amending. You should not be sending an amended state return before you send the original return. Hopefully you saved a copy of the original return before you amended it that you can send.
