Received a email yesterday stating my refund will be deposited in my account. This morning Turbo tax posted I will receive a check in the mail. Tried to blame the IRS been on the phone with them still can’t explain why I’m receiving a check

There are a variety of reasons and we will never know the reason. For some reason the deposit could not be completed. Most common reasons are a typo in the account/routing number or your name is not on the account.
That is not true turbo tax used Cross River bank and that is the problem
