Error "cannot find attachment Form1116ScheduleB.pdf" while e-filing amended return

Error "cannot find attachment Form1116ScheduleB.pdf" while e-filing amended return. How do I fix this? I am using Turbotax Premier Desktop - have updated to the latest version of the software. Please help.

generally, PDFs can not be submitted electronically because the IRS computers will not know how to read those documents. some times you can e-file  your return if you use form 8453 to submit certain specified forms/schedules by mail to the IRS, form 1116 schedule B is not one of them so if you have to file it you'll have to mail in your return including the pdf.

pro software that I am aware of has the same limitations with regard to PDFs.

This is a known problem that has been posted here often for months.

It looks like TurboTax is not going to fix it.

Many thanks for the prompt reply @fanfare.  I wish Turbotax would read these messages and fix the problems - they seem to have a monopoly in this space- ☹

@semicurious and expect the amendment to take 9-12 months to process.... the IRS is woefully backlogged.
