Employer sent out a new copy with box 12a (DD) being corrected. Do I need to amend?

Employer sent out a new copy with box 12a (DD) being corrected. Do I need to amend?

The DD code in box 12 does not affect anything on your tax return. The IRS will get the corrected copy for their records from you employer. There is no need for you to amend your return.
