Electronically submitting 1040X to get Stimulus

I filed my 2020 taxes thru TurboTax and now need to file and amended 1040X. I did not receive stimulus checks when I first filed and believe I am eligible, so I re-answered some questions through TurboTax for the 1040X and it turns out I am eligible for the stimulus.  BUT...the Fed won't accept my 1040X submission because some fields are not matching.  Am I doing something wrong or is the electronic file not providing the correct data?

Please make sure you prepared the 1040X using the steps outlined in this TurboTax article:  How do I amend my 2020 return?

The procedure has changed for e-filing amended returns.

Those are the procedures that I followed, but upon submission of the 1040X I receive a rejection message stating that "TotalNonrefundableCreditsAmt in 'CorrectNumberOrAmountGrp' must be equal to the amended Form 1040 'TotalCreditsAmt'".  Reject Code F1040X-007-01

Since I am not filling in any of the fields, not sure how I am able to make the adjustment that is being requested!
