E-File Status

I e-filed my returns for myself in Arizona and on behalf of my father in Indiana. Turbo tax sent emails for all 4 returns (Fed & State) indicating they were successfully submitted. That same day (7/9) I got emails indicating my Fed & State were accepted and my father's Fed submission was accepted. To date I have not seen any acceptance email for his Indiana tax, nor has any money been taken from his checking acct to date. Can Turbo Tax follow up on this with Indiana or is that my responsibility?

No TurboTax cannot follow up for you with IN.  TurboTax never knows when, how or even if tax due has been paid.  The IRS and/or state do not share any information with TurboTax after a return has been filed.  It may just be that the system is backlogged and the state has not yet debited your father's account.  His return may have been accepted -- but that does not mean it has been fully processed.

Thanks for your input. TurboTax does show all returns were accepted. Just a little surprised they have not taken the money due by now.
