During the process of filing taxes, when will it ask me if I want to apply for an advance? It's not showing under the direct deposit area.

If you were eligible for the advance and/or the advance was still being offered then it would have been offered when you completed the FILE tab.

If you qualify for the Refund Advance, it'll be shown as an option along with Direct Deposit and IRS Paper check.
