Duplicate taxes

I did my taxes this year and it appears someone has tried to do them before me and now they ve accepted both I guess and now it seams stuck in limbo . What do I do

You'll need to explain that more, but don't post any personal info in this public Internet forum.

Did you try to efile a Federal and state return?    If so, what error did you encounter?   Did something prevent you from efiling?   i.e., did the error occur when you tried to transmit and couldn't?   If so, what was the error message?

Or did you successfully transmit your efile, and then later got an IRS rejection error code/message?   If so what was the rejection code/message?

What do you mean by "they've accepted both I guess?"
