Does it take this long ?It's been 7 days and still no acceptance
It's been 7 days since i transmitted my return. Usually it takes 1-2 days for an acceptance email. Should i be concerned or take further action?

The IRS did not begin processing and accepting returns until January 28, 2019. Hang in a couple more days, as they have to clear the backlog of returns and that can take longer than usual.

I filed on Jan 25, both fed and state. Fed was accepted on Jan 30 around 11a Central time, and state was accepted around 9p Central time. A friend of mine who filed on the 25th also but later that evening, her returns were accepted before mine. Only difference was I had to file long form and she was able to file short form. So I think the more complex, more credits/deductions take a little longer to process through.

My refund was SENT on January 30 2019 and I STILL don't have my money! TurboTax has no pending deposits and the IRS told me when I called that it's been SENT. Now the question is, where's my money?

I think everyone to some degree is dealing with a little delay regarding acceptance. I wouldn’t worry about it until you have to.

So it took a while longer than usual for it to be officially accepted. I was approved today and got a deposit date. Filed January 19th accepted Jan 30th and today Feb 23rd was approved and is sending with a deposit date of the 27th. Defiantly different this year guys!!

I’m sure it all has something to do with backlog and the prior shutdown. Basically same here once the 23rd came. I have a friend that does not claim child credits and whatever but has homeowner deductions. His took 8 days to be accepted.
Still have questions?
