Colorado taxpayers are experiencing unusual delays in having their returns accepted this year. The Colorado Department of Revenue only began processing returns Friday, February 21st. They are processing them in the order they were received. If you are awaiting a refund, use this tool to check the status: https://tax.colorado.gov/where-is-my-refund
On Intuit, mine shows Colorado accepted it on the 18th, but it is in pending status. When I log in to the state website, it only shows I need to file. I am not sure what is going on. It does not show accepted on the state website. Does anyone know what is going on with Colorado state tax status. I e-filed in January and knew it was delayed at state level. I already received my Federal. Thank you
Mine is the same
As MindyB mentioned above, the Colorado Department of Revenue didn't begin processing tax returns until 2/21/25, so they have a huge backlog of returns to process. Your TurboTax status will change from Pending to Accepted once Colorado has processed your return.
You can check your filing status in TurboTax by following these instructions: TurboTax Tools: Where's my Refund?
You can also check the status of your Colorado Return on the Department of Revenue website: Where's my Colorado Refund?
@JP0 @jackb19831983 has urs changed at all
Yes, I just got my refund
@jackb19831983 Did you get yours in the mail or direct deposit? Also, did your status change on the Colorado revenue website? Before you received your refund did you see your refund amount in the account balance section?
