Do I have to completely resubmit both my amended federal and state return if only my amended federal was accepted? The code given was STATE-006. What does that mean?

I e-filed my amended return through turbo tax. My federal return was accepted but my state amended return was not. I was given the code STATE-006 and i am not usre what it means. When I try to amend just my state return it does not givem ehat option. It takes me to resubmit my federal and automatically proceeds to my state and updates it on its on just like the first time I amended. I am not sure what to do now.

no, only the state needs to be refiled but what state and was there more to the rejection message? if there isn't more you can call the state's department of revenue for an explanation of the error.
