no telling. it depends on how you filed - file or mail and the iRS backlog of amended returns which even if e-filed go through review by an agent .   figure 8-12 weeks.  could be longer. the IRS has about 1.5 million unprocessed amended returns.  This is May and the IRS is still processing amended returns received in January

Do not expect quick results from amending. It can take four months or more for the IRS to process an amended return.
