Do I get a notification?

I just amended my original tax return but i did not get an email or anything showing that I amended it, only that the turbo acct has been update and accessed. and my refund still shows the original amount when I supposed to get more back. Do I need to redo the whole process again? I need to file 1040x form.

did you e-File 1040 before?

You must e-File 1040-X in the same way and get an ACCEPTED message.

OR

print and mail it at the Post Office.
