Disputed refund

My e-file was accepted om 4/18/2020

I received a partial refund and a note on-line that more data was needed.  I was suppose to receive a IRS letter within 30-days with details and a phone number to call if I had questions.  Today is May 5, I have still not received a letter.

Does not seem like it has been 30 days since April 18.   This is May 2.  Wait for the letter.  TurboTax never knows about offsets to your refund or about changes the IRS is making if they disallow a credit, etc.  Your only source of information about this is the IRS.

You still have to wait for the letter.  Sorry.  TurboTax cannot intercede with the IRS for you or speed them up for you.  These are not normal times.  The IRS is backlogged by the pandemic and is processing millions of tax returns and millions of stimulus checks.  Things are taking longer than normal.
