Direct Pay Confirmation Number

I need to push out my payment date for the taxes I owe because of the Covid-19 stuff. Problem is: I cannot find my confirmation number for having set up the direct pay. Though I had it printed out but I cannot find it anywhere. Where can I find that since I cannot call the IRS at the moment?

I lost my Direct Pay confirmation number, can I retrieve it?
Unfortunately, the Direct Pay application cannot currently retrieve your confirmation number once you leave the application.

Level 2

If you don't have the confirmation number, you have to call the IRS number ending in 4537 (TurboTax removes the full number for some reason). You DO NEED TO CANCEL the auto deduct that you scheduled; it does not automatically move to July 15th. I was on hold for 30 minutes before being connected to a live person.

You can call the IRS at 1-800-829-1040. There is a high call volume.

When calling the IRS do NOT choose Option 1.

Choose Option 2 after you choose the language.

Then Press 1

Then Press 3

Then Press 2, it will then transfer you to an agent.
